The traditional Greenland paddle is coming back into our modern times. The ambitious Sea kayakers rediscover the potential of this type of paddle.
The Greenland paddle is lightweight and a pleasure to paddle with long distance. It offers more various paddling strokes and more recovery strokes while rolling the kayak from a capsize. It has less wind resistance and because of a different paddling technique it is more easy on the joints.
NOMI Woodcraft offers 3 different types of Greenland paddles, all hand crafted and custom-fitted to the paddler.

The Greenlandpaddel Kuuna is the king of the paddles. Kuuna is carved from one solid piece of Western Red Cedar with tips and edges in the hardwood marple, which makes it the toughest from our paddles. The surface is fine polished and oiled.

New. Two piece Greenland paddle with solid separation. The separation joint adds 120 gramms. The paddle is made to the wishes of the paddler. Stability, lightweight and flexibility of the paddle blade is crafted into the wood itself.
